Winter shoes stored correctly
Faithfully, our winter boats accompany us, but slowly we are getting ready for something lighter again. However, how do you store your favourite boots so that they are still pretty for the next winter? Preparation is the be-all and end-all!
STORE SHOES CORRECTLY - TIP #1
Our first tip: Take out your shoelaces to avoid unattractive deposits. Now to get to the dirt: Clean your shoes with water and a brush or cloth. For stubborn dirt, you can also use a special cleaning agent. Then let them dry completely and follow our further tips.
STORE SHOES CORRECTLY - TIP #2
The final touch before storage is: Impregnation! Simply spray the spray onto the cleaned and dried shoes from a distance of 30 cm. After this protection has dried, you can polish your smooth leather shoes with shoe polish or a sponge. In no time, they will look as good as new!
STORE SHOES CORRECTLY - TIP #3
Once your beloved winter shoes have been cleaned and cared for, they can almost be put away ... But to keep them from getting out of shape, you should always pad them well. For boots, a shoe filler ensures that no creases occur.
STORE SHOES CORRECTLY - TIP #4
Our favourite boots and ankle boots should survive the warmer months unscathed. If they spend the winter in a cupboard or a shelf, then make them feel comfortable: Wrapped in tissue paper and stored in a fabric bag or a shoe box, they are protected from sunlight and dust. Now they can enjoy their summer sleep in peace.
